About Ao Nang Beach

Krabi's most popular beach is breathtakingly beautiful with soft white sand fringed by towering limestone cliffs which form an impressive headland at the southern end of the beach.

A small resort area, Ao Nang still retains its village atmosphere, with excellent local restaurants, music bars and local shops. A promenade runs along the sea front where boat taxis depart for neighbouring islands and beaches like Railay Beach and Phra Nang along the coast. The boat trip takes about 20 minutes and costs about 80 Baht per person each way.

Taxis and local buses regularly operate along sea front to Krabi Town (the provincial capital) and other areas.

Krabi is one of southern Thailand's most picturesque provinces with superb beaches, stunning scenery and fascinating national parks. Krabi Airport is 30 km and Phuket International Airport 150 km or a two hour drive.
